Connect and Go: Building friendships and making plans doesn’t have to feel confusing or overwhelming. Join Main Street and the Arc of Northern Virginia’s multi-part series designed to help Main Street members meet new people, build confidence, and turn ideas into real world experiences.

 

Across four interactive online sessions, participants will learn how to plan outings, exchange information, make and organize plans, and adapt to changes when things don’t go as expected. Each session focuses on practical, real-life skills.

 

The series contains two planned outings, giving participants the chance to put their skills into action, plan their own trip, and enjoy an adventure together. Come to one session or join them all, meet members, and enjoy time together. 

 

This week's topic is "Main Street Travel Trip Planning"

 

It's time to put our knowledge to the test. In the final online seminar, The Arc of Northern Virginia will plan a social outing with attendees of this event. We will discuss tools for trip planning and create an A and B route to a voted on location. An outing based on the plans from this evening will be conducted soon! All Main Street members are welcome.
