We’ll begin with a cup of warm tea and a gentle introduction to healing spices and food energetics, then move into cooking a simple, seasonal meal together. As the food comes together, you’ll learn how to eat with the seasons and support digestion. We’ll close by sharing the meal with a mindful eating practice—slowing down, engaging the senses, and savoring each bite—followed by relaxed Q&A and conversation.
About Melissa:
Melissa Maxwell is a certified Ayurvedic health counselor, somatic yoga & life coach, retreat leader, and published author devoted to helping others become their own best healers by reconnecting with their inner wisdom. She weaves together ancient lineages of wisdom with modern, science-backed practices to create multidimensional experiences that nurture whole-person healing.
Her work centers on guiding others back to their natural rhythm—living in sync with the seasons and weaving simple rituals into daily life. Through this process of modern rewilding, her students understand the language of their bodies, nourish their energy, and rebuild nervous system health. Melissa believes that true wellness begins when we learn to work with our bodies, not against them.
Beyond her professional path, Melissa is a homeschooling mother of two and a lifelong student of life. She finds joy in slower mornings, traveling with her family, alchemizing recipes and remedies in the kitchen, and expanding her knowledge. She carries a deep curiosity for the world and a gift for fostering connection wherever she goes.
