Join us for Main Street's Poetry Workshop , a four-session program where we listen, read, write and perform poetry that inspires us and makes our heart sing! After attending the workshop, be sure to sign up for our Friday Vibes community Poetry Slam on Friday, April 10!
The series will be guided by Molly Cullen. Molly has been captivated by the power of storytelling before she could even hold a pencil; her life is benchmarked by thousands of letters, short stories, poems, essays, and nonsensical verses scribbled on napkins. Her adoration for language led to her decade of professional grant writing experience, where she wields words and stories to resource movements and mission-driven organizations. In 2025, Molly founded Beyond the Page, a haven for writers and storytellers who want to use their voices to change the world. Living in Rockville with her husband, Frank, their two sons, and two (adorable) dogs, Molly is a firm believer in the poet within us all. Her workshops offer a welcoming space for people of all backgrounds to experience the joy of poetic expression, She believes that you, yes YOU, have a poem the world needs to hear. Let's find it together!
