We are thrilled to announce another season of collaboration with Montgomery College Challenge Program! Please read below to find out how to get registered to participate in the Sweet and Savory Baking classes that will be held here at Main Street. 

On Thursday November 20, from 10:30am- 12:30pm, we will be holding a registration session in the classroom at Main Street for Winter / Spring classes. Please register here for this event to hold your space in the class. 

If you can not make the registration session, please reserve your spot by registering here and then reach out immediately to make separate arrangements to come fill out your registration package and drop off payment. If you register to hold your spot and do not come to the registration session or reach out to make other arrangements, your spot will not be held. 

Registration and payment will be done through Montgomery College's Challenge Program.  Classes will be held at Main Street in Poppy Boy's Kitchen. 

Montgomery College Challenge Sweet and Savory Treats Baking Class:

Let’s celebrate the season with delicious and visually stunning treats. You will incorporate fresh vibrant spring ingredients like citrus fruits, and berries. You will master fundamental skills of measuring ingredients, understanding various mixing techniques, and proper bakingtemperatures. You will also review kitchen safety practices. You will make spring themed pastries and desserts like iced lemon cookies and strawberry short cake. You will also bake savory snacks like cheesy bread sticks and pizza tartlets. So, grab your apron and come and celebrate spring with us.
 

Tuition for Montgomery County residents  = $235;  Non Montgomery County residents = $375.

Dates and Timing: 

• 10 Sessions on Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3:00 PM from February 4- April 15.
