Join us for this very special collaboration between Main Street and Best Buddies! Mary Schafhauser, Best Buddies VA/DC's Director of Development and beloved Main Street volunteer, and her team will be leading us in a four-part educational series through the month of November. You are welcome to join all four sessions, or just the ones you are most interested in. Today's session will be about Financial Planning.

The holidays are a time for giving, celebrating, and sometimes… spending more than we expect! In this session, we’ll learn smart ways to plan ahead so the holidays stay joyful and stress-free. Together, we’ll practice:

· How to tell the difference between “needs” and “wants” during holiday shopping

· Tips for creating a budget that includes gifts, food, and celebrations

· Simple strategies for saving money now and in the future

· How to set financial goals you can stick to after the holidays

· Ways to use tools like apps, lists, or savings accounts to keep track of your money

By the end of the session, you’ll have practical tips to enjoy the holidays without overspending. These are skills you can use year-round to reach your financial goals.

* If you are non-member and you register for this class, you are invited to stay for our members-only Sunday Social program from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, immediately following the class, for no additional fee!
