Join us for this very special collaboration between Main Street and Best Buddies! Mary Schafhauser, Best Buddies VA/DC's Director of Development and beloved Main Street volunteer, and her team will be leading us in a four-part educational series through the month of November. You are welcome to join all four sessions, or just the ones you are most interested in. Today's session will be about Personal Goal Setting.
Big dreams start with small steps! In this session, we’ll explore how to set personal goals that matter to you and create a clear plan to reach them. Using the SMART goal framework, we’ll practice turning ideas into action by focusing on goals that are specific, realistic, and achievable. Together, we’ll practice:
· Identifying goals that are meaningful to you
· Breaking down goals into clear and manageable steps
· Using the SMART framework to make sure your goals set you up for success
· Building confidence in sharing your goals with others
By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a personal goal and a plan to get started on it right away!
* If you are non-member and you register for this class, you are invited to stay for our members-only Sunday Social program from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, immediately following the class, for no additional fee!

Mary Schafhauser serves as the Director of Development for Best Buddies in Virginia & DC, where she leads fundraising, events, and community partnerships that advance inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
